She joined LTJ in June 2026 and is excited to continue serving the Hinckley community. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing LPCC licensure.
Her experience includes providing individual, group, family, outpatient, IOP, and school-based therapy services for children and adolescents. Most recently, she provided school-based therapy at Hinckley Elementary and Hinckley-Finlayson High School. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, person-centered, solution-focused, and play therapy. She primarily works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change. She strives to provide a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach their goals.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. Sokmearn loves being outdoors hiking, fishing and gardening. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.
